MVC baseball tourney and NCAA baseball

even with special olympics in town ISU could have hosted, it's unbelievable they passed on hosting the Super regional, our fan base is pissed! The announcement on Twitter saying we were passing on hosting has over 3.4 MILLION views now, even fans of other schools are disgusted ISU isn't hosting. What was more than likely a once in a lifetime opportunity to host was simply pissed away, it's sad and incredibly disappointing, but it's just ISU being ISU.

The past 2 weekends at the ISU games have been unbelievable, sellout games, fans fired up and this is the result. Lots of info and pissed off people on the ISU message board of course

I would be very upset too. The series should have stayed at ISU.

Sycs majorly dropped the ball. You move heaven and earth and figure out a way to play those games at home.

FIND A FREAKING WAY!

EXACTLY! this would have been the biggest and most important sporting event on the ISU campus in history, yet our own administration was too tired from the previous two weekends hosting the NCAA regional and MVC tournament with multiple teams. it's maddening how bad of a decision it was. People will not forget this. I was watching many other super regional games over the past few days, the publicity generated for the host schools was priceless, but at ISU we apparently don't need that as we continue to draw fewer and fewer students to attend the school. It's terrible
