As everyone knows, I'm not the biggest fan of college baseball. That said, I happened upon a great story from the MLB draft this year. It involves a player from Georgia. Far too often, college and pro sports are dog eat dog and rife with cheating and bad behavior. This isn't one of those stories and very much worth reading.
http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/06/08/pa ... y-rangers/Johnathan Taylor, a University of Georgia junior outfielder who is yet unable to walk since colliding with a teammate on March 6, was drafted in the 33rd round.
What would truely be a story would be if the Rangers sign him. I hope so.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!
