Go to like 1:00 min mark and tell me that wasn't a Super Bowl game for you guys.

Again, maybe we/our coach are/is just more enthusiastic.

Dear God I hope not lol! That sounds heartbreaking!

In all seriousness of course I'd trade our sucktitude for ISU's moderate success this decade. At least I'd have more fun at the Lou. I just bring up your drought because I can. I hope better days are ahead for both our programs.

Its fitting that a lot of Redbird fans are also Cubs fan (NOT ME) but a lot! Over the last decade, we have adopted the Cubs fan mantra of 108 years. "Wait till next year" and "this is the year."

I will say that again. This is the Birds year! If not....they probably hit the reset button and drop in the league. Muller is ready for that transition though with 3 R.S. D1 transfers, and another D2 PWO transfer (won't be a significant role player but experience in the program always helps.) He's getting guys in the program to ease the transition for next year's loss of Milik, Tinsley, Evans, and Fayne.

Better days for ISUred? You said something positive about them? Just when I thought I had seen everything. ;)

I am not a Bradley fan though I have nothing against Bradley. I have felt for several years Bradley needs to get back to what they once were for not only Bradley but for the Valley as a whole. Bradley does have that potential to be special again and I think Wardle is the coach who can get it done. Time will tell but I would not bet against him.

As a Brave's fan, it seemed like more of a relief to finally beat ISU on Valentine's Day. It was a pretty poorly played game. ISU was missing Fayne. The crowd wasn't that into it. It also ended a three game losing streak for BU after beating Loyola.

I don't know that I would call it Bradley's Super Bowl, but beating Drake with a last second shot to eliminate the team that beat you twice to advance was sweet. It was nice to go out and celebrate again with old college friends in St. Louis. It didn't mean much overall for the tournament since it was on Friday, but either did Shawn Jeppson's quarterfinal shot in 2002.

This was A highlight for 2002, but wasn't THE highlight. That team had postseason aspirations, and while that shot was amazing (I was there), it didn't make our year or anything like that.
