people would stop saying the Valley sucks or its such a down year. This is going to be such an unpredictable conference season. The non conference play will have you fooled as these teams arent finish products. How a team looks in Nov-Dec probably wont look the same come February. I have questions for each team before we hit STL in March:
Is Drake really good or just playing garbage opponents?
Can Coach Dan control a talented yet undsciplined Ill St squad?
Will Walter McCarty's team get a few upsets in conference play thus messing up seedings for Arch Madness?
After not so strong non conference showing does Loyola repeat as regular season champ?
What will it take for Barry's Salukis to be the 1 seed going to the 314?
Does Bradley take the next step and build upon last year's solid play?
Did the experts jump the gun having UNI not in the PIG like 2018?
How much did Valpo learn after 1st season in the Valley?
Can the guard combo of Barnes/Key push Indiana State to compete with upper half of the league?
Is Dana Ford ready to prove the predictors wrong and finish much higher than 8th?
I have no idea and wont pretend to know how it play out. But I do know what many are saying may not be close to even what end result is. All I know is I cant wait for conference play to start! 2 months of good ol Valley basketball before another fun weekend in STL. Buckle up! Have a good one ladies and gents
