Last I checked, MSU is at the top of the standings.

Next time you check I think you will have found that MSU has slipped to 3rd place since UNI non-conference SOS is better than MSU.

If you read my post...it does not say that MSU is in first, it says they are at the top of the standings, meaning one of the top teams that has a chance to win the conference.

I think most people would look at your usage of the word TOP. Top means the highest point. Mo State is not at the Top of the Standings.

I have no problem with the discussion turning to WSU and UNI because it is in context of UE becoming a primary factor in the mid pack race and secondary factor in the upper third standings. Typically when the upper tier fans discuss the better teams, we were not in the mix. I am trying not to get too giddy, but with the right seeding, healthy players, and LUCK, the Aces have a chance for a Sunday game, too. Just like 5 other Valley teams.

I'm delighted to see UE become relevant.

With SIU, BU, and CU all removing themselves from the national stage, the MVC needs someone to step up. When the traditional power schools step on their Wally's, the Valley needs teams that are not the traditional powers to step up. The moment that fails to happen, the Valley suffers.
