MVC awards only use Conference game stats, so the overall stats are insignificant.

Conference games:
Fletcher averaged 17.8 ppg 6.2 rpg
Da Silva averaged 14.1 ppg 8.1 rpg

Fletcher +3.7 ppg
Da Silva +1.9 rpg

Last six games:
Fletcher averaged 22.8 ppg 8.2 rpg
Da Silva averaged 14.5 ppg 9.5 rpg

Fletcher +8.3 ppg
Da Silva +1.3 rpg

Who cares about the last 6 games? Last time I checked all the conference games count equally. All that shows is that he was trending up. It was probably factored in that Da Silva played out of position (at the 5) all through the conference season (after Church quit the team). Again Da Silva as the best player on a team vying for the regular season championship through the last weekend is VERY deserving.

All games do count equal. Look no further than 2 bad months and how much it cost us as a example. If Fletcher was to take someones spot it would be Faynes. Not because of Phil because of MY and not getting Phil the ball more. Brown shouldve been first team. Dwayne Lautiere Ogunulye should have been all D team Childs too. Like Barry said tho. You play for march anyway. Arch madness accolades mean more. BU is bringing scissors and slippers this weekend. Go BU.

The two Bradley awards are exactly where those guys should have been. Childs is not an all defensive level player.

Childs is all everything in my book. Dont forget he is only a soph. DLO not on the all D team is a snub.

Put some zeros in for the games he was suspended and his average drops quite a bit.

He was all sit on the bench for the entire second half on Saturday :)

He's a nice player who has a ways to go.
