There is a buzz in Peoria like we have not seen since 2006 when Bradley went to the sweet 16. Peoria loves there Braves and hopefully this is just the start of a longer run for Bradley. The Valley will be better if Bradley is a better, it's been too long.

The Peoria area (and most of downstate Illinois) has fallen on hard times of late. Jobs are leaving the state in droves, and people are going with them. More losses than wins, on and off the court. Peoria needs and deserves a winner, something to be proud of. We got one yesterday. We got a BIG one.

And there sure is a buzz today. Barber shop, lunch, office, coffee shop...it's all anyone is talking about, even the layperson who hasn't seen a game all season. Front page of the PJ Star, front page of the Chicago Tribune and USA Today sports. Something about Bradley winning just gets people going...
