anyone who thinks the trees are finishing ahead of Bradley, with or without Childs, is completely nuts. At worst, BU will be 4th. 4th is the trees ceiling...it is Lansing after all

“We’re hoping for (around three weeks) right now,” Wardle said. “Everything is heading in the right direction. The X-rays have been good.”

For Childs to come back to action for the Missouri Valley Conference opener against Drake on New Year’s Eve is probably too optimistic. But it might not be outside the realm of possibility to expect a return for the second league game Jan. 4 at Northern Iowa.

I'm glad to hear it. Players of that caliber are impossible to replace.

With that in mind Fazekas is generally expected (no words from Lottich) to return soon as well. Both were MVC Preseason Second Team selections despite Fazekas only appearing at full strength in two MVC 2018-19 games.

I only bring this up to remind folks that this senior does exist and should be in the mix for Valley competition. For many of you who have had little or no opportunity to see his play I'll pass along what the coaches, sports information directors and media already know. "He can light it up."
