Mardi Gras - Soulard

Sounds like March 5 is the big night with the parade and beer tent. Anyone been down when the tourney and Mardi Gras overlapped? What's the best way to get to Soulard and all that jazz?

Soulard is not far from the arena or any of the downtown hotels.

Check with your hotel to see if they're providing shuttle service to Soulard. If they aren't, it would be a cheap cab ride.

I wouldn't recommend trying to drive down there. They block off streets, parking is terrible and people are drunk.

Sounds like most of the partying happens before 8pm and the bars close at that time.
