Decent win by SIU against Valpo- shows some life in the team despite the season derailing after the Domask injury. If he is 100%, hopefully he gets some minutes against Loyola and plays in the MVC tourney for SIU to build some confidence going into next season.

Not sure if this has happened before, but going into this weekend games, all Six of the bottom Six teams can still earn the #6 Seed. All of the bottom Six teams, except for Illinois State, can still earn the #5 Seed.

So it looks to me like this is a very real possibility for the final slots out of the play in round. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

If UNI wins again tomorrow then they capture the 5 seed

And if both Evansville and Valparaiso both lose tomorrow then Evansville gets the 6th seed.

Is this correct?

Nope, Evansville has the tie-breaker on UNI. Bradley gets the five and UE gets the six.
