This isn't a story about a WSU failure; actually their own path this year with Coach IB is pretty noteworthy. This is a story about a gritty, resilient Drake team and coach. Just total respect to them.

But even though I kinda like Coach Brown, can't forget WSU fans arrogance and disdain for the Valley and it's members , so what ever displeasure they feel this morning is just great, they deserve it and more. As per their norm, many WSU fans are spending their efforts completely trashing their coach and not giving Drake and Coach Devries their proper respect, but we're used to that level of classlessness from them .

Karma can be such a wonderful thing. I don't thank the NCAA for much , but this match-up was quite the gift and I had great confidence in Devries to take advantage of it.

Congrats Drake fans, you've been through quite a lot over the years. I'm sure it feels great to have an NCAA victory. Now your team is playing with house money. It's got to feel great moving forward knowing win or lose you have a great foundation for the future of the program. Winning + stability is great for Drake and great for the conference!
