Can you explain the methodolgy?

Why MSU has a 50% chance of finishing first and WSU is only 38%?

Gracias.

Below are the 8 different ways the remaining MSU and WSU games can play out, and who would be the number one seed in that scenario. Because MSU has a H2H win against WSU, all they need to do is win the return game, and they are the number one seed. If WSU wins that game, but MSU and WSU finish with the same record, the OOC SOS would be needed to determine seeding.

MSU W-W, WSU W-L = MSU
MSU W-W, WSU L-L = MSU
MSU L-W, WSU W-L = MSU
MSU L-W, WSU L-L = MSU
MSU W-L, WSU W-W = WSU
MSU W-L, WSU L-W = SOS
MSU L-L, WSU W-W = WSU
MSU L-L, WSU L-W = WSU

MSU - 50%, WSU - 37.5%, SOS - 12.5%

So does anyone have the SOS numbers used for tiebreakers? I would like to know were Creighton, Evansville, ISUb, and UNI stand if there is a tie.

That's correct. All the games will be on FSN and of course Sunday's on CBS.
