Yeah, the Valley, as usual, just looks so competitive this year. I mean a lot of people like MSU but I may not have them higher than 4th and then you have SIU and Bradley right there also, with UNI/LOC/Drake looking like top half teams. So that's 6 already, and I don't see much to separate Valpo and ISUb, as possible 7/8 teams. Now we all know stuff happens, but that top 6 will be tough to leap over .

For me, you've got a clear Top 4 then SIU on a tier alone. I think you can throw the other 5 in a hat and I wouldn't be shocked no matter what order you pulled them out.

In truth I would rather travel Iowa selling boy's band instruments and uniforms over "Beacons" but I guess I don't hate it.

Beacons seem stuck with 5 remaining schedule openings and this is starting to worry me. The unknowns of new roster and maybe covid attendance limits might really be gumming things up?

Apparently there's a "light" motif on the Valpo campus and I suppose Beacons fits that, but it is an otherwise pretty lame choice.

That has got to be one of the worst names in the nation. With 50 million nouns out there, you would think they could have come up with something better. Toasters, Weasels, Valkyries?

I do think they have added enough pieces to be pretty good with Edwards and Krikke returning, but I go back to my earlier question about their PG situation

No one else answered this question, probably because they thought it was pretty obvious. B1G Wisconsin transfer and former Wisconsin Mr. Basketball Trevor Anderson will be the floor captain for Valpo. Not really sure why you would have questions about PG. Just about everything else is a question mark at this point except for PG.
