Poll: If not Murray State as the 12th, then who?

Mikovio is right. Look at UConn. They made a move that basically screamed from the rooftops "We don't care about football anymore!" And they are still kicking around FBS as an independent. WKU probably won't want to do that even though that would probably be best for them. It sounds like if CUSA breaks up (which is way more likely than I ever would have suspected just a week or two ago) that the MAC will give them and Middle Tennessee State a lifeline for them to stay FBS and still be in a decent basketball league.

For the purposes of the poll however I think it's NKU or no one if it's not Murray State and I lean towards no one because any other addition would just be disappointing when you have Murray State on the doorstep willing to join at any time.

Given the amount of revenue that many FBS schools occur is just staggering. Truly, what is the point? When your team has next to zero chance of ever being remotely competitive how much is that enhancing your university? What a school like Western Kentucky does well is basketball....obviously I am biased, but they would have a lot more fun in MVFC playing football, and playing basketball in our league. It would be a great fit for both sides'

It’s a response to the western stuff…

But I’m still hearing generally positive stuff. Nothing concrete, but positive, regarding Murray to the Valley
