Well, I doubt it is a league or national conspiracy to keep Murray State in the OVC and away from the MVC. Do you have any other logical reasons?

Yeah I’m not saying that. But I have listened to enough people on camera saying something that isn’t quite the complete truth. Would he really say “well it was really contentious in the room, and there some people dead set against them”? Yeah I don’t think so. In reality, it’s probably him being a PR person

I wonder in hindsight if Loyola's goal in joining the Valley was to leave the Valley. Also, do they have to pay some money to leave?

The Loyola AD and the A10 commish are friends and it was reported their AD said they’d be joining them eventually years ago. The A10 is primarily a Catholic league which helps just as the Big East did for Creighton. Creighton also had personal relationships with those presidents.

I don’t know about an exit fee but they’re forfeiting their earned NCAA shares in the coming years and the A10 might not cut them in fully immediately, as the AAC didn’t for Wichita.

Agree. CU and WSU were valley members for years, the Shockers going back to the 1940's I believe. Loyola was in the league 8 years and leaving already?
So she was good enough to go out with for a while, but not good enough to make a long term commitment with? LOL!
