Bellarmine if they're smart (and Bellarmine is interested which I believe they will be given the impending departure of Liberty and Jacksonville State from the A-Sun.) I think the Horizon League will be the superior basketball conference to the Atlantic Sun going forward.

Bellarmine is a good program to target. They have had success, they are in a solid metro, and they are a private school. They need to keep winning, of course, and will need to be able to keep their success after Scotty Davenport hangs it up.


BTW, if you are a basketball fan I recommend watching one of their games. Its like watching Princeton with Pete Carril.

I was thinking Bellarmine would be a good pick. They would be following the same path as Northern Kentucky did from the GLVC to the Horizon via the ASun. That would give them both the Cincinnati and Louisville markets, a good geographic fit, and a renewed rivalry.
