These don't really seem to be power rankings they just seem to be the final standings...

That's what I thought, too, but he has Creighton and Northern Iowa as No. 4 and No. 5, respectively (the final standings are Creighton 5 and Northern Iowa 4).

I don't like the add-a-link-so-I-can-get-clicks crowd, so I didn't click the link.

However, if what you say is true, UNI at fifth seems high to me.

UNI, without O'Rear, is 1-6 with the win over the last place team.

UNI should be ranked behind: MSU, WSU, CU, ISUblue and Evansville -- and had Drake not got pounded by Bradley, you could have argued Drake is playing better, as well..actually, you still could.

With O'Rear, you could argue for them as the second-best team and as a legit Arch Madness contender.

O'Rear for league MVP!!!

I'm with you, I never click those links. I guess I just don't care what some random fan's rankings are.

If it's really not about the clicks, and is about getting some discussion going, then why don't they post their "story" on the board, and not as a link?

1. Missouri State- 23-7, 15-3

Last week: win @SIU 76-58, win vs. WSU 69-64

2. Wichita State- 23-7, 14-4

Last week: win vs. CU 67-65, loss @MSU 64-69

3. Indiana State- 17-13, 12-6

Last week: win @UNI 76-74, win vs. SIU 75-60

4. Creighton- 18-13, 10-8

Last week: loss @WSU 65-67, win vs. UNI 63-55

5. Northern Iowa- 19-12, 10-8

Last week: loss vs. INSU 74-76, loss @CU 55-63

6. Evansville- 15-14, 9-9

Last week: loss @DU 69-87, win vs. ILSU 73-67

7. Drake- 13-17, 7-11

Minus the four and five swap, it does just reflect the final standings. I have never been a fan of power rankings anyways. I think anybody can play and beat the best team in the country in any game. Just my opinion though.
