Mecca Meltdown!

Tornadouche and Da Coach are in full retreat over at the Mecca, where they continue to defend the job Jimmy has done. Logic, reason, and any rational thought are distinctly absent in this pair. They fear the rebuilding that will take place if Jim is fired, but you cant do worse than 0 for January, which is exactly what the Braves did this year. Yes, losing our two best players hurt, but I believe they give you 13 scholies for a reason. Even the worst Drake and Evansville teams of past years werent this inept, especially in a league as weak as ours is this season. Last night's loss to an equally woeful ISU was the final straw. I really hope our AD sees the light and pulls the plug on Jim as soon as we lose to Drake next Thursday...and yes Baller, I've already started the bus for my Braves  .

Apparently you're not old enough to remember Kurt Kanaskie. He coached Drake to two consecutive 0-18 MVC finishes. That's pretty inept, although the first of those 0-18 teams managed to beat WSU in St Louis.

And the 2nd 0-18 Drake squad put a scare on Bradley the next year, when Armand Lavasseur scored 5 3's in the games opening couple minutes to lead BU 15-0. Bradley then rallied to win, upset Creighton in the quarters before running out of gas in the 2nd half against then SW MO in the semis.

I have a feeling that this thread may have some more visitors soon.
