Thanks for posting that. I know I posted somewhere that there is a rotational plan for premium seating, but it would seem that SIU and Drake (for example) could have simply each had one section rather than dividing up both and one being stuck behind the other.

Obviously, Valley brass and I agree on one thing ... there won't be more than a couple hundred Aces faithful at Arch Madness on Friday.

The lesson to be learned here is if you want good seats next year, order your tickets through Evansville or Drake.

Is does seem like the putting schools directly behind one another is a recent development that only started a couple of years ago. I don't remember it being that way previously. I wonder why they made a change?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I count fans of every school having at least some seats along the sidelines - otherwise known as the desirable seats.

If you place people vertically, then you limit it to four schools on the sidelines. The only fans who would like that are the four schools seated there.

You definitely want to keep fan blocks together, which is probably why they go with the horizontal set up - along with the above.

There are only so many ways to put people in the seats and keep the groups together and allow for some seats along the sidelines.

With the sponsor seats in the prime locations, I'm not sure there's a better way to get all the teams in seats along the baseline.

Someone has to sit along the corners and end lines.

So the question becomes, who has pull on this board with anyone who works for the MVC and can get some answers or at least voice our concern over the "schools sitting behind other schools" situation?
