The noncon schedule their first year in CUSA will feature SMU and Tenn Martin @home and roadies at Arkansas and Marshall. Bears get a return home game from Marshall the following year.

The real question is will SW Missouri State be able to win more than 2 MVFC conference games in their final season?

Well we have averaged over 4 the last 4 years [ 5, 6, 3, 3,] and Beard will get QB Clark back from injury. We have a better roster, but in his second season as HC, Beard still is unproven , so we'll see.

They won three conference games last season with one against # 15 UNI so they should be able to.

I think the bigger question is if Indiana State will be able to win any games since their one win against winless WIU can't happen again.

We haven't been "bad" since we got rid of Steck; but again Beard is unproven, so this year should tell us a lot .

What has MSU football attendance been like?
genuinely curious (not being passive aggressive or anything)
I know i could probably look it up on the good ole internet but rather have conversation.
Don't you need to average like 15000?
Im pretty sure going fbs, especially the first year, will help with attendance.
but does anybody on the ground there has a better feel?

apologies if this has already been discussed. I didn't want to go back through 15 pages or so to check.

They removed the 15,000 attendance standard ; last year MSU averaged a little over 9,000. I'm sure we'll get a bump that first year, but hard to tell how much. The norm for MSU has been a decent opening game crowd, good HC weekend; the early conference games can be above 10,000 and has been as high as 18,000. But the Nov crowds are pitiful, most years, but then we only had the 2 recent years we were in the race in Nov. Is what it is; obviously attendance or past performance weren't the driving factors for us or CUSA football wise.
