What can the MVC do to become a multi-bid league on Selection Sunday?

Win every OOC game and have multiple teams with 28+ wins.

Bring back Cincinnati, Louisville, Houston, Memphis, Oklahoma State and Creighton. :Bam:

Realistically for the Valley, with the P4 having the favor, EVERY team needs to lose no more than ONE D1 game. Unfortunately, this league is still playing non-D1 teams which shuts out NET opportunities. My Flames are the biggest culprits this season with THREE Non Division 1 opponents!

The league needs to buy a bunch of games against the lowest D1 schools and win every game by 50. That’s what the big schools do so they provide their own Q1 games internally.

We can't afford those buy games anymore. Since the NET was developed, the P5 figured out that they needed to fill their entire non-conference with SWAC and similar teams to do just what you said. Those schools used to need more games, but now the P5 has them all booked every night and I'm sure the prices have gone up considerably. You are right , it would absolutely work. buy 8 or 9 victories and play 2-3 P5 teams and you would be set, but every team in the conference would have to do it.

We'd do that and SOS would magically matter again.

It's rigged y'all. Just enjoy the league for what it is. I'm not going to pass up 5 months of fun and competitive basketball because we aren't going to get a second bid.

Honestly, we need to have one team really good and be the at large team, and then have them get beat in an Overtime game in Arch Madness finale.

That's the only reason we were a two bid league for like half of those years in the 2000's. Honestly Indiana State should have been in last year, and that was the formula.
