I like it. It's much better than celebrating moral victories.

I still think it would be surprising. He would have, what, one year left on his deal after this year or did he get one of those automatic add ons at the end of each season?

We would owe him for 2 seasons, 3 if he gets 20 wins BUT if he gets 20 wins he’ll finish top-4. I’m not just BS’ing here, he has to finish top-4 or he’s gone. Mark it down.

My 20/50 assessment: The league isn't very good this year, unsurprisingly. Many of us have been saying that since last summer's raid of the best players.

That doesn't mean the league race isn't or won't be exciting, it just means if you're expecting consistency, you're going to be let down.

Just make sure you're healthy for Arch Madness, try to avoid playing in the first round and you'll have a chance to play in the NCAA tournament.

Honestly the fact that we're still in the same place metrics wise and have even improved in some is just showing how top heavy college basketball has gotten.

I'm going to enjoy the next few years of UNI/Valley basketball because I'm not sure college athletics below the Power Leagues exist in any meaningful way a decade from now.
