Evansville Aces coaching staff: Here is what you must do. Scrap your offense. Utilize the Marry Simmons offense when he had Colt Ryan and DJ Balentine. Give Haffner the role Ryan/Balentine.

I'm not claiming Cam Haffner is Ryan or Balentine, but his strengths and style are similar. Balentine is on the bench. I am sure he knows this will help the team.

When Haffner is hot, the defense will try to double and triple team him. This frees up the rest of the players and allows Haffner to find the open man. When he is not hot, the Aces will struggle on offense, but no worse than they have all year.

The defense has proven to be stubborn as of late and in the MVC. It ranks second the MVC in fewest points allowed.

If Pozzato comes back, you will have 2 primary options, with the PG and big men in supporting roles.

Will this win you the MVC Championship? Probably not, but it should keep you out of the bottom 4. It will restore much needed structure in your offense. It will force all 5 players to perform specific duties and achieve the same goal. It will give you a fighting chance as long as your defense stays stubborn.
