Did you think that Drake was a lock for the #1 seed before their game with Bradley. My guess is no. You probably thought (and still think) that UNI could still get the #1 seed.

No UNI can't get the 1 seed in any realistic scenario. A tie for 1st, which in itself is unlikely, would give Drake the 1 seed because UNI has no chance to catch Drake in the NET.

UNI still has at Belmont, Drake and at Bradley. Can't imagine going 3-0 through that stretch and Murray and UIC are good enough to beat UNI as well if UNI doesn't bring it.

Go 4-0 and hope Drake loses @ Evansville. Down 84-83 with 4.7 seconds on the clock @ Illinois State it didn’t look like you had a high % of a chance to win that game, but you get the shot off with about 0.01 on the clock to win 85-84. As long as there’s a chance than there’s a chance.

It was a good game in the fact that it was close the entire way.

Not sure about the level of play. I can't speak for how Bradley played, but I'd give Drake's performance yesterday a C-/D+, with B being a typical performance. Not trying to take anything away from Bradley.

UNI up 37-34 at halftime at the Curb Event Center. JaCobi Wood's 12 points has kept Murray in it.

Interested to hear an eyewitness account from SalukiWorld on the game and whether the strategy of Belmont fans has been to root for UNI against their self-interest to spite their rival or whether Belmont fans are making a concerted effort to give Murray a push so they can try to catch UNI for the 3-seed.

Weird atmosphere. UNI has some fans, guessing family of players. They’ve been more noisy than the Murray fans that probably double them. No more than 100 people actually here.

JaCobi Wood looks healthy. UNI looked better with Jacob Hutson on the bench.

Just got an email saying the SIU/Murray game is being moved to Carbondale. This is such a weird situation to deal with for Murray.

UNI controls the 2nd Half and wins 74-67.

Gonna be a fun last couple weeks in the league

Murray really struggled against UNI's defense in the 2nd half. Really rough for Murray to lose out on 2 home games and have to travel to Carbondale twice.

Meh ... I dunno about that. Drake's defensive effort looked more like at least an A- to me. A more handsy team I have not seen (that's a compliment). Very intense and active. Sure BU blew by defenders a few times, but that was good offense, not bad defense. Drake's FT shooting was maybe C-/D+, but otherwise it was just a smashmouth MVC heavyweight game.
