And a Q2 loss instead of Q3. Just as big of a deal.

Jake pulled Titan Anderson out with 13 minutes left after an out of control move at the basket that saw him hit the floor hard. Looking back through the play by play, Jacob Hutson was pulled with 14 minutes to go. Schwieger was pulled with 11 minutes to go.
Those could have been normal Sub patterns to start, but then they didn't play the rest of the game. Maybe it was because Bradley built a 20 point lead in that time frame with 9 minutes to go, and he didn't want anyone to get injured. I just thought it was weird to yield the 2 seed with that much time left, especially when UNI drained back to back 3's to get it to a 12 point game at one point.
No need to run any more minutes onto those legs and no need to let Bradley get used to actions. I think it was a case of 'it's Bradley's day, lets just move on'. Schwieger and Tytan especially have been playing heavy minutes the last three weeks and Hutson has had a nagging ankle for pretty much all of the league season.
Plus, I think Jake likes the UIC matchup on Friday a heckuva lot more than Murray. UIC has looked completely lost in both matchups.

I would love to know if coaches actually check scores of other games while their own game is going on. Like is there an assistant hitting refresh on his phone and giving real-time updates to Jake about the UIC game? And then he decides to bench his players based on that info?

If Drake plays like they played the first 40 minutes today, in two weeks Drake will be scouting their NIT opponent.
Is there concern in Bulldog land about the # of minutes the Drake big three play?

IMO, Not really. We did fine with 3 games in 4 days in Charleston.
I expect that to continue, because:
- The summer conditioning program for Mac's program is insane (at least one potential transfer that we know about threw up trying to complete a workout)
- Our slower pace of play

Either Cuonzo is a heck of a coach to keep this group so close every time out...or the talent is actually better than we think and the coaching is not doing them any favors. Perhaps it could be a little bit of both.
