Yeah - touting the overall win # does nothing for me these days. Schools play more games than they used to and much of it is schedule specific. Win #'s are things coaches use when trying to get new jobs or extensions.

Play devil's advocate and get off on Drake all you want - it still doesn't make Bradley's season unsuccessful.

I remember a time when Bradley fans were desparate just to sniff a third place finish. I am certainly not going to kick a 2nd place league finish in a top 10-12 league to the curb. Again, that mentality is a large reason why we've been such a trainwreck most of this century.

Tap the brakes dude. I literally said earlier in this thread the season would be a success. I never once even mentioned Drake. Good Lord.

Is it some kind of mystery or anti Bradley sentiment to say Drake has had a better season to date than Bradley and every other MVC team for that matter?

It's not a "screw you." Missouri State was the worst team in the league. When you suck, you don't typically win awards.

It's definitely a "screw you". Dez White averaged more ppg than Pierre did. Belmont finished 4th. Pierre is first team and White gets nothing? Not even on the newcomer team?

Zaxton King averaged more PPG than TWO of the guys on the all-freshman team but gets nothing either.

I'm not advocating for a bunch of honors for the last place team but zilch on any of the 8 all-conference teams is glaring. And btw, I get it. They're leaving the conference. It's understandable. But it is glaring nonetheless.

Dez White DID NOT average more PPG, RPG, or APG than Pierre.
White 12.5 PPG 2.7 APG
Pierre 15.0 PPG 5.6 RPG 3.4 APG

Nah. Pierre was far more consistent than Dez White.

But I made this point before, averaging more PPG for a bad team doesn't mean you had a better season. There's a reason the coaches' votes are worth more.

Successful compared to the past?- Absolutely! But successful relative to THIS YEAR's expectations? Sorry man, its Dance or be disappointed. NIT has been nice the past few years and relative to the abyss we were in....yeah if you want to lower the bar, go ahead but to simply ignore how Drake has performed and look at BU in a vacuum is very shortsighted IMO

FWIW Murray had zero players on the post season award list. And rightfully so.
