It's weird to be sitting here in today's landscape and knowing my team's roster is finalized by April 22.

Pretty incredible Coach P was able to keep everyone. I know it's over used but its a testament to the culture he's brought in. Guys WANT to be here.

Only one xfer out in Freshman G, Cade Norris. Who we assume was told his role next year would be competing with the incoming freshmen for rotational minutes.

Pretty exciting and rare to have this amount of continuity in the world today.

Agreed on the Trees, I'd put them in that mix. I don't hate what SIU has done and I fully trust Nagy. I think they may take a step forward in Year 2 there.

No idea what to think on UIC.

Valpo and Evansville stay where they are until proven otherwise.

Mid-major programs with historically mid-level high-major type fan support with decent funding — the ones who mainly over-achieved anyway in a power conference skewed game — just may be ok in this NIL era, like a lot of teams in the Missouri Valley conference. Looking like it’s shaping up to be just that with my nerves thoroughly frayed by the time we get to March. I like it.
