Just hours before the game, I was talking with a K-State fan at work who said this was a big test for WSU. He said, "You guys like to see yourselves in the Big 12 and this is your chance to show how you stack up. This is your test."
I told him then that we would do alright in teh Big 12, no worse than Nebraska, Iowa State, CU, TTEch, OSU and OU. We would win our share of home games and pick up a few road wins just like most schools in the bottom 3/4 of the conference do.

This morning I popped into his office and asked, "So, what grade did you give us on the test?"

He said, "A+".
