Another SIU Defection

A rarely used redshirt freshman center, Jordan Myers, has been released from his scholarship at SIU according to today's edition of the Evansville Courier & Press. Myers is looking to finish his playing days out at a D2 program.

That means that C-Lo will probably be needing to recruit more big men. At the moment, SIU's roster includes only two players 6'5" or taller who are expected to return in 2011-2012.

This story was first reported in the Southern Illinoisan last week, but I don't believe anyone posted about it here.
