Shocker fans had to wait for the NIT to see the team they thought they would see this year, but better late than never. I'm so happy for the seniors. You went out winners!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Shox. You earned it. Could only imagine the damage you could have done had you made the NCAA tourney....

Great win Shox. Hatch saved his best for last, and Ellis was unreal from medium range. Big guys stood their ground underneath against some real athletes, and defense did its job. Thot there were too many stoopid moments overall, and if I were a Shox fan I'd have been calling for Stutz to be removed....had a tough game, although he can be a deterrent on defense. Bama had zilch from outside, never considered shooting from anywhere closer than 12 feet til the last minutes.

Never knew what it was like to end a year on a win. Pretty amazing feeling even if it's only the NIT.

Thanks for the well-wishes from other fellow Valley fans.

Hope CU can make it a tourney sweep.

The value of being on national TV regularly like the Shockers were has to very valuable to the athletic program and the school. I had relative tell me they wished the NIT wasn't ending because they like to watch Wichita play. No doubt a great way to gain mind share on a national level, should help with next years team ratings.

Congrats Shox's! Very nice showing and great pub for the Valley.

Now if the Jays can just take care of business tonight it will be the start of a great weekend!

Amen. I wish we could advance to the Final four this weekend and play UCONN again. Or VCU again. Heck, I'd take my chances with Butler or Kentucky too. You have to wonder what could have been.

WSU would be a 2pt neutral court favorite on VCU.
Butler-WSU would be a pick'em.
UCONN and Kentucky would both be 5 point favorites.

Would be interesting if the NIT was a really long play-in to the F4 or even the E8. :buddies:
