I really don't give a crap and can't believe I'm sitting here trying to defend this one way or another. Really I'm a little embarrassed. Just found it a little irritating that instead of just moving along you have to try to prove some point. We will find out one way or another if he is any good in the next few years. This list really means nothing.

Thanks. I was unaware that if you don't understand or disagree with something, then it was decided by payoffs and is meaningless. I will try to keep that in mind and consult you an all matters in the future to see if you have approved them. I'd hate to be blind-sided by corrupt processes and will certainly require your approval of all things in the future.

Or is it that honors and awards such as these only matter if they affect "certain" schools?

I believe the last WSU player who was a Parade All-American was Antoine Carr. Obviously, given his 16-year NBA career, that list was bogus too. Also on the list, was Ralph Sampson and Sam Bowie. I suppose all of them were undeserving and unqualified as well.

Well, obviously every single guy on this years list will go on to have have a +10 year NBA career then.

Here is a link to the A-A teams from Parade

Not taking anything away from White, I think he'll be a good player in the MVC. But, when you look at the list, and some of the schools represented, you wonder how the list was picked.

lol, I was being sarcastic buddy. I was making fun of the comments before hand suggesting that the whole parade thing is a little screwy.

Point being was there is a process and obviously they felt he deserved it. However I also think all these awards etc are meaningless. Look at the mockery scout and rivals makes out of it. Granting stars and ranks to players after they end up with a BCS. Just saying doesn't matter if other valley fans think the honor is legit or not, we will find out on the court.

Heck Jake was an 91 on espn till he signed with WSU now he is an 89.

You always seem a little touchy on all things WSU. As if your own self esteem comes from other fans perception of the program. You got to let that go man. I'm a huge fan of WSU but I couldn't give two craps what the other valley fans think of them. If I did I would have to be on here defending them constantly and saying crazy stuff that made me appear like an insecure little man. Thats why at the end of my rant earlier in this topic I said I was a little embarrassed about defending it. Because as I was writing it I realized what a stupid and pointless argument I was engaging in.

It's good recognition, but means nothing. Were Doug McDermott or Jake Odum all-this or all-that?

Dang, Haha! After I reread all your posts in this thread I could see it, but I missed it the first time around.
Your sarcastic comment were so similar to the logic some fan bases always apply to all things WSU that I bit.

You don't need to reel me in. I'll just jump into the boat.

Nice recognition for White.

However, I don't understand why WSU fans feel attacked here. A few posters just asked how the list was put together. I don't see the hate. Am I missing something?

Parade All American is a nice honor, regardless of how selections are made. Now if he was transferring from a Big East School then he would definitely be a bum.
