Article on Creighton's Grant Gibbs and summer league

It sounds like Grant might fill the role of vocal leader that this team has been missing. He's another Gonzaga transfer who will be playing in the Valley.

Sounds a little like Ryan Sears to me, although with Antoine at point I'm not sure where Grant plays.

I think he might just fit in nicely at the #2.

The off guard position will be interesting to watch. I think Gibbs could be the guy, but Manigat really came on at the end of last season. I'm interested to see how McDermott and Wragge co-exist. If Doug has bulked up as has been reported and can bang down low a little more, having Wragge on the perimeter to knock down threes will prevent doubling down on Doug and GE.

I have a great feeling about this year and can't wait for the preseason predictions to start rolling in.

The system that McDermott is running at CU doesn't really differentiate the two and the three. There is plenty of PT available between those two positions.
