contact: gracie.blackburn@espn.com
ESPN.com senior college basketball writer Andy Katz recently sat down with 31 NCAA head basketball coaches at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando to discuss the biggest topics in the game today. ESPNU will air the intimate roundtable discussions in five 30-minute specials beginning Monday, Aug. 15. The five-part series will be televised daily at 5 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 19.
A number of topics are discussed in the series, including: pay-for-play, the NBA Draft, recruiting and the trend of mid-majors competing for the national title. The SEC, Big Ten, ACC and BIG EAST are all touched upon as leading conferences, and the lighter side of the sport comes through as coaches weighed-in on Blaine Taylor shaving off his famed mustache.
