Haith and MU

Has anyone else seen the recent allegations regarding MU's new head basketball coach? I'm not sure what to make of it but you have to think the MU brass are second guessing themselves right now.

Hoping he meant to say "MU's brass"...Not sure what MSU has to rethink about all this...

NCAA won't be able to touch Haith, so the next best thing would be to fire a shot across his bow by investigating MSU and making an example out of them to give him a warning. I know it doesn't make sense but that is the way the NCAA works.

Just a typo. I agree the NCAA probably won't be able to touch him. Still not a good way to start his career at MU.

The Billy Donovan situation at Indiana is probably the precedent here. No problems for Haith or MU now, but Haith isn't going to have a "gimme" on any NCAA violations at UM and he will be under a microscope.

It's kind of sad to see head coaches, who make the big bucks, leave the dirty work up to their assistants, who are struggling to break into the big time, but are required to take the fall if the program is dirty.

There's probably a question on applications for assistant coaches in the SEC: "Number of NCAA violations achieved without detection".

I don't know if anyone else has been following this but it really doesn't look good for Haith now. He denied having anything to do with this convicted felon Shapiro. But now supposedly there is hard evidence to the contrary. Such as photos of him in strip clubs with this guy and 70 + text messages back and forth.

I guess it's still heresay at this point but if that is true MU should get rid of the guy. And soon.
