Note: I did change my last post in this thread slightly to reflect my uncertainty regarding how the selection committee decides on a preseason all-american team. Do they look at the players entire career? That wouldn't make sense to me. To me it would be a snapshot of where they think that player ranks right now against his peers. And the best judge of that would be the players last year. But I may very well be wrong.

But I just don't understand saying my thoughts/comments are "Anti-Weems"? Good lord.

Back on topic, this can be great for the Valley as the national press loves to jump on the mid-major guy bandwagon every few years and ride it to some great exposure and nationally televised conference games.
