Criteria for expansion article

Good article by SubGod22. I think the Valley needs to also look at academic fit to a degree. The most important factors should be NCAA appearances and ability to support the team, coaches and having appropriate resources.

SLU and Wright St might best fit the criteria, but I don't think many Valley fans would be happy if that's who we added. If it's not SLU along with Dayton or Butler, I don't think expansion is worth it.

That was kind of my point. But a lot of things would have to go just right to get either of those two. If the conference is determined to expand no matter what, there are few options that could actually work. Which makes it even more important not to just go adding anyone who may want in.
