I'd say that the phrase "high school gym" was pointed and intended to flame. If he was honestly curious about the venue, he could have simply asked, "why wasn't the event held at the Qwest/CenturyLink".

I dunno, DJA.....I looked back at his post, and I just don't see anything that looked like a flame toward CU.

It wasn't bowing down in praise to all that is holy, I mean, Creighton. Therefore, it was clearly flaming.

Despite all the arguments above, the ESPN midnight madness seemed to have impressed the recruit that was present. That makes me VERY happy!

I wasn't trying to flame anything CU and I still don't know if that was a highschool or not. You are right to say I would have loved to have them at MSU, I am not knocking CU in this but rather ESPN. It almost looked like they came into your house and pissed the sheets and left. I would have loved to see the scrimmage, I just didn't understand why they came if it was only to bash CU's schedule.

That's Sokol Arena in the new Ryan Center on campus. It holds about 3,000 and is a nice arena dedicated to women's volleyball and basketball. The camera angle they used was not the best. I would suggest you see the place before you **** on it.

I'm sorry but I found a little humor in the photograph, as the initials "H.S." seem to appear on the top front of the building.

Nice catch - that actually is kind of funny.

For the non-Catholics, there is also an "I." before the H.S. "I.H.S." has been used for around 700 years to represent Jesus and became especially popular among the Jesuits. Here's a brief, but epically boring, explanation: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07649a.htm If you ever set foot in a Catholic church, you will see that somewhere in the bldg.

DUBulldog - you know I respect your opinion. If I misinterpreted the initial post, or overreacted, I apologize. I did legitimately think that the "high school gym" reference was an attempt to take a shot. By the comments of a few others, I wasn't the only one that interpreted it that way. See you in St Louis - the first beer is on me.

Actually I am and I knew it was something religious in meaning.

Please pardon my obvious bad stab at a funny..
