A question for Drake fans

There's been lots of unhappiness expressed by DU fans and it got me thinking. Would you rather go 7-11 in MVC play and have Phelps stay or go 2-16 and have Phelps get fired?

7-11 will almost certainly get him fired, so it's a moot point. But, given those two options, I would choose 2-16. Now, if you asked me about 10-8 and stay vs 2-16 and go, I'd have a different answer.

I'd take Phelps gone, even if we only get 2 wins in the conference (hopefully both come over Creighton).

The issue is, if we have an absolutely terrible season, yes Phelps will be gone, but chances are Rayvonte will also be gone to Xavier. Rayvonte is tight with Karl and Jeremy, so who knows if they would leave as well.

It's a disgusting situation all around.

Ideally, Phelps will hit his head on something and it will knock some circuits into place and he will become an amazing coach and we will be incredible. That sounds very nice indeed.
