In Division III that is with an 81-71 victory over the College of Wooster. The Fighting Scots are what I expected. Well schooled. Good shooters. Ran great sets. Didn't get rattled. Well coached. They hung in for most of the first half and had a few leads. Bradley led by five or so at half and pushed it up some in the second half.
BU Scoring Leaders
Taylor Brown, Sr, 21 pts, 4 rebs
Dyricus Simms Edwards, Jr, 19 pts, 6 rebs
Walt Lemon, So., 17 pts, 7 rebs
Shayok Shayok, the freshman creating the most buzz still didn't do alot. 2 pts, 4 rebs and a block in 20 minutes. Everyone raves about how he dominates practices but we haven't seen it in games.
Starting center Jordan Prosser didn't play so backups Anthony Thompson and Nate Wells split time....inside play will be a HUGE issue for this team.
Bradley does play fast. They play hard. There is athleticism there. However, suspect defense, no depth, no shooters, and bad inside play will hurt them. Staying out of Thursday night in STL will be a minor miracle.
