Will the MVC have the same ten teams in 5 years? 10 years?

I agree with Red. I am of the opinion that we will all still be together in 5 yrs. For 10 yrs, though, that's in doubt as Casey will have MSU in C-USA by then even though C-USA wants football schools. I am sure Casey will find a way.

I am still of the opinion that we will all be together in 5 years. What conference(s) would want any of the MVC schools? This is not mean't to denigrate any of the schools currently members but a reflection of where we all are at.

As much as Casey Garrison talks C-USA, that conference will not want anything to do with MSU. Football is driving all of this madness and MSU isn't worth a tinker's damn at football. C-USA wants football schools. MSU doesn't even compete all that well at the FCS level much less move up to FBS. The other schools in the league that also have football are not in the position to move up to a FBS conference. As for WSU and Creighton, I am afraid geography will conspire against both.

What school that is currently in the MVC will be moving on and what conference would have them? I'm sorry but I don't see it.
