Norfolk State at ISU Red 12/18

This looks like a crappy game on paper but for RPI purposes, this is HUGE. Norfolk State currently has an RPI of 30 while ISUR has an RPI of 268. A win here would be big for the valley for RPI purposes. Norfolk State probably wont keep that RPI once their conference season starts but it's still a big difference. They've beaten TCU, lost only by 2 to Marquette. This would be a good win by ISUR.

That's about as artificially inflated RPI as you can get. Norfolk State has actually played Marquette twice - in addition to losing 59-57, they also lost 99-68.

I agree it's inflated but Norfolk State isn't Chicago State, they seem like they are a decent team. ISUB up 40-27.

Nice "marquee" win ISUR! This should help bring their RPI near the low 200s and help out the valley RPI as well.
