Coach Hinson's time in the Big 12 has probably sharpened his coaching style and focus. He is probably more qualified than ever to be a Head Coach.

When KU came to Omaha for the second and third rounds, I had a long chat with Barry. I told him that we miss him in the MVC and suggested that he apply for the SIU job. He didn't tip his hand about whether he had any interest, but was very gracious and polite.
