Bradley played well in the 2nd half, and really pounded it down low to Pickett and Egolf who finished well and strong in the post. BU got a big pick me up from Freshman Ka'Darryl Bell as well, getting a season high 10 points off the bench.

I really can't figure ISU(b) out. They play up and down to their competition so much. Bradley probably played one of their most complete 40 minute games of the year today, as they didn't have a stretch like most games where they stink for at least 5-10 minutes.

you think YOU can't figure it out?? Imagine if you were an ISU fan like we are. It's the most maddening thing ever. ISU plays the best teams and wins or competes very closely, then they go play the worst teams on the schedule and play at the lower level. It's unbelievable.

Same thing has happened in the losses to MSU, BU, SIU, Drake, Morehead State. ISU gets a lead in the 1st half, then near the end they slack off, other team makes a run to close the gap or take a lead into the half. Opposing team comes out from halftime, punches ISU in gut, ISU can't recover, and loses game. Seen it over and over and over again

I feel bad for you guys, but really, you have a pretty young team and still learning. Reminds me a lot of the Bears a few years back when they went like 1-8 on the road in the Valley and dominated at home. Then the next season, they won the Valley. Don't lose faith.
But overall, the Sycs are pretty overrated and the way they played at Carver on Saturday is more fitting of their identity. I think they just play really well some games, and that happens to be vs. the better teams for whatever reason.

I think if BU were to lose the rest of their games, you would have to consider this season to be a success as a Braves fan. Still would feel disappointing if that happened, but jumping from 6 league wins over the last 2 seasons to a whopping 7 is huge improvement.
Yeah, we lost 2 games pretty convincingly (aka "blowouts"), but we rebounded in both of those with Wins!

Geno has brought a level of toughness to the program that hasn't been seen since the tail end of the Sweet 16 season and perhaps the season that followed. And it's been few and far between since the mid 1990's.

Couldn't be happier with our coach, though I'm sure we'll be upset with him from time to time down the road. But I have a good feeling he will bring "winning" back into our program's vernacular.

As far as the Odum-Lemon debate for 1st team, after this game, I'd think it would be pretty close, but who's gonna give Lemon a fair shake?

And aside from Simms-Edwards game @ ISU-red when he was injured, he deserves high consideration for 2nd team.
