Your gut was definitely right when you stated that WSU was an overhyped machine destined for a 4th place finish a month ago.
USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll Conference Breakdown:

MVC: 1
WCC: 1
Atlantic Ten: 1
MWC: 1
Big East: 1

The Big East is Big Time.

I'd love to see it come down to that last CU / WSU game for the title. That would be awesome and good pub for the Valley. The WSU/MSU game a couple of years ago was an example of that. I'm glad the outcome was in our favor but I still would have thought it was a great game and atmosphere even if it had gone the other way.

I guess for that to happen WSU would have to lose to Evansville and CU would have to beat Bradley. That would be more likely if Evansville was at home. Still Evansville can beat anyone when they are playing well.

Anyways, another question mark is Anthony James for UNI who left with a leg/knee injury and didn't return. Early word is a deep bruise but you never know.

And I am not sue about Illinois State and UNI being loose, I know they have lost, but didn't really look loose in doing so....

I gritted my teeth and locked down my keyboard, upon reading that IL State and UNI were loose.

I new the thruth was their somewhere.
