why is there a need to go to your board when there is a very active Shockernet board?

Our board will be run a little differently with hopefully more student membership. Also, rules on rumors and speculation will be more liberal. Lots of schools have more than one board.

If there is any extraordinary beneficial differences between this media deal and the deals that most other MVC schools have signed in the past, feel free to fill us in on those details. Until then, it appears that it was all the other schools that "set the standard for WSU to try and emulate".

MVC schools setting the standard for WSU? Please elaborate.

Do other Valley schools have similar deals?

I've said from the first moment that I saw this, on here and on Shockernet, that it was being overhyped. I would be surprised if we were looking at more than an extra $250k a year from it, and I'm not certain we're making anything at all. But I don't recall other Valley programs having deals similar to this, whether it results in extra revenue or not.
