I went to Evansville last year for the Shox game and I loved the stadium and the downtown area. Cool bars, not far from the river area. Cool town. However, when I got to my seats I was talking to some aces fans who don't like coming downtown, who preferred the location of the old venue and thought attendance would be higher on the other side of town. That being said, as an outsider, I think it's much more impressive to play downtown. If I were touring Evansville I would be more excited when I saw the stadium an where its at instead of the actual school itself IMHO
