This list includes wing guards and wing forwards; but not stretch 4s. No newcomers included:

1. Manny Arop, 6-6, 215lb senior, ISUb
2. Christian Thomas, 6-5, 207 junior, LUC
3. Desmar Jackson, 6-5, 173lb senior, SIU
4. Jamar Gulley, 6-5, 220lb senior, MSU
5. Tekele Cotton, 6-2, 202, junior, WSU

It looks like this spot will be covered by committee for WSU. Cotton is killer on D, so it's hard to keep him off the court. If Wiggins can "get it" (hustle, rebound, D it up), there's no way to keep him off the court with what he can do on the offensive end. Evan Wessel is the hard-nosed, give it everything every minute guy who's an outstanding 3-point shooter. He was the starter last year before he broke a finger.

Cotton was beat up when Wessel was starting, and Cotton's game improved a lot last year, which may work to put Cotton ahead of Wessel this year. I would almost expect Cotton to be more of a back court player than a wing this year. That would make the main rotation at 1 and 2 be VanVleet, Baker, and Cotton. That leaves Wiggins and Wessel sharing the wing spot.

Then there's the added situation with Darius Carter at PF. Coaches have told Early to learn to play the 3.

There's a huge logjam and likely to be a lot of situational minutes at the wing for The Shox this year.

I hesitated to put Cotton in the list, but his stats were better than others at the same position. There is a HUGE drop-off from the #4 SF to the #5 when looking at offensive stats.
