The best non con 'get' of anyone. Hopefully the ville regret it. More likely, lets hope we don't look silly.

I disagree. This is the highest ranked "get" of anybody. For it to be the best game, I would think you would want to play a team where a win is realistic outcome. I'm not saying that they can't win, but to predict a win would be ridiculous. In that respect, the UNI/VCU match-up is a much better match-up IMO.

UNI also travels to UVa this year. I don't know much about the Cavaliers this season. I know they had a decent season and made the NIT last year.

VCU certainly appears to be the biggest game for UNI on the non-conf slate. Glad it's a home game and cool it's going to be on national TV (at least somewhat national-ESPN-U). We have some other good games-Virginia, Iowa State, the Paradise Jam as long as we take care of Loyola-Marymount. But none at home. That makes this one a bit bigger.

TV or not, UNI is in deep water against the Rams.

Since we're talking about ESPN here I've got a question. Before the game day schedule came out, I thought man they should go to Wichita, but instead they put you in the tip off marathon at midnight. So would you rather be apart of the early season marathon, or host a game day? You guys definitely have one of the best fan bases in the country

No question hosting a Game Day. It seems like one "mid" seems to host one a year. Last year was Butler. SIU had one a few years ago. I would think WSU would be due for one but they're gonna have to continue to perform at a high level to garner such accolades. I think we're off on the right path.

Thanks for the kind words.

Should be pretty good. Think they're expected to still be top half of the ACC next year, even with Syracuse, Pitt, and ND joining.
