No, a strict reading of my post does not carry that message. Because the words I used were not "I could say the same thing." The words I used were "I could say a similar thing." And, as you can see from Wu's post, I would only have to change four words out of 27 to make the point that I actually intended. That's 15%. That looks pretty similar to me

Ag's entire point was that a conference change makes it erroneous to predict Loyola's performance in the Valley. This is in no way "similar" to predicting an upward trajectory for an MSU team that will be competing in the same conference.

You're right. There is absolutely nothing similar about predicting two teams that were very bad last year but also very young and hurt by injuries to both improve this season.
