I haven't commented in this thread because you have every right to gloat and attack the two posters who are baiting you. Don't forget there are some good people too who are cheering for the mvc and just want to talk basketball.

Let me ask a real question. Is WSU 12 spots better than CU? Shockers came on strong when they got healthy, but CU still took 2 of 3. Who lost more? I would think a best of 3 this year might bring same results.

I think WSU is about 16 spots better than CU.

It makes you wonder what WSU would have done if they were healthy the whole year.

Who lost more? Well, how many starters did WSU replace last year? 5? What did they end up doing? What about the year before that? Creighton was a gift Gibbs 8 years of eligibility away from being sent into the bottom half of the Big East this year. 2014-15 is when seats are going to start opening up in the Century Link Center.

I think the pg spot for WSU is a bigger question than people think. It's tough to step in year one.

So I totally disagree with this assessment. FVV will be one of the best PGs in the MVC this year, and this is a league with a lot of good PGs. Fred is not stepping in year one, he is moving from back-up to starter in year two. The back-up PG may be a concern. We have Baker and Cotten who are both capable of playing, but that is not their natural position.

Back-up center will also be a concern. While there are all kinds of reasons to believe that Lufile and Morris will step up, they have a lot to prove.

Baker, Cotton, Wessel, Wiggins, Green, and Early will be difficult to handle for any team at the "wing" positions. I'm using wing loosely for the SG, SF, Stretch 4. Carter also figures into the mix as a more traditional PF.
